The glam doll asked for extra costume changes while shooting for her film ‘New York’.
Katrina Kaif is known to take active interest in her styling and costumes in every film she does. That’s the case with Yashraj Films production New York as well.
The music video of the film, co-starring John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh , was originally supposed to have Katrina in three costume changes. But the pretty diva that she is, Katrina demanded as many as seven costume changes.
Choreographer Ahmed Khan was reportedly a bit apprehensive when Katrina put her demand to him before shooting the number at Yashraj Studios. When the matter reached Aditya Chopra , the film’s producer, he gave a go-ahead provided Ahmed Khan had no problem.
Ahmed apparently had a worry. He anticipated that arranging for the extra costumes and Katrina’s continuous changing them throughout the shoot would only delay the schedule.
When the choreographer expressed his worry to Kat, she assured him that the shoot would finish on time.
So Katrina eventually had her way. She changed seven costumes during the song’s shoot and she kept her word as well. For the song’s shoot finished just in time.
